Sandy Loam Topsoil | Full Tri-Axle Truckload
Flat-Rate Sandy Loam Topsoil Delivery
Skip the uncertainty of calling multiple soil yards for separate material and delivery quotes. Builder Ready Dirt Work & Trash Hauling offers one full tri-axle truckload of Sandy Loam Topsoil for a flat rate of $595, including local delivery to eligible addresses within our approved Greater Austin delivery area.
1 Full Tri-Axle Dump Truck — approximately 15–16 loose cubic yards. Each truck is filled with three full passes from a commercial front-end loader, using a bucket rated at approximately 5 cubic yards of heaped capacity.
Because this is a natural material loaded mechanically, final volume can vary slightly with moisture, density, and settling — that's normal, not a shortage.
Enter your delivery address at checkout to confirm eligibility. Orders are processed the same business day and are typically delivered within 1–2 business days, Monday–Friday, subject to weather, material availability, safe site access, and hauling conditions.
What Is Sandy Loam Topsoil Used For?
Sandy Loam Topsoil is a versatile natural soil material commonly used for grading, lawn preparation, sod installation, landscape improvements, filling shallow low areas, and general residential or construction-site soil work.
Its combination of sand, silt, and clay provides a workable material that is generally easier to spread and grade than heavier clay-based soils. It's commonly selected when a project needs a balanced topsoil material rather than compost-rich planting soil or basic construction fill.
Common Applications
- Final Grading and Yard Preparation — a smoother, more workable surface before landscaping, sod, or other exterior improvements
- Sod Preparation — a practical topsoil base before fresh sod is installed
- New Grass and Lawn Preparation — improves the surface layer before grass seed, turf, or new lawn installation
- Lawn Leveling and Low Areas — uneven lawn surfaces, shallow depressions, and minor washout areas
- General Topsoil Placement — where an additional layer of natural topsoil is needed around residential, commercial, or construction properties
- Landscape Preparation — areas being prepped for landscape improvements, lawn installation, or general property restoration
- Backfilling and Minor Grade Adjustments — filling shallow areas and making minor elevation adjustments
- Construction and Homebuilder Projects — lot preparation, grade corrections, exterior restoration, and soil placement around active jobsites

Bulk soil is a natural material loaded mechanically at the source. Final delivered volume is approximate and may vary slightly because of moisture content, material density, mechanical loading, and settling during transit. Natural color, moisture, texture, clods, and cosmetic appearance may also vary slightly from load to load.
Sandy Loam Topsoil vs. 75/25 Topsoil Mix
Sandy Loam Topsoil is generally selected for grading, leveling, sod preparation, lawn installation, and general soil placement. The 75/25 Topsoil Mix contains compost material and is better suited for projects that need a richer soil blend for garden beds, planting areas, vegetation, and landscape soil improvement.
